Nutritional Coaching at On The Move Personal Fitness

The good thing about nutrition is that it is something you have complete control over. By taking your health seriously and consulting with a Nutritional Coach to determine the foods suitable for you, your body will reward you with increased energy, vibrant health and vitality.

What is the purpose of Nutrition Coaching at On the Move Personal Fitness?

At On the Move we strive to help our clients find a balance with health, diet, nutrition and fitness. In order to achieve the best possible results with your workouts, we recommend that each individual sit down to discuss your specific vision of what you wish to achieve at OTM. We believe diet accounts for 80 percent of your success with weight loss goals; you cannot accomplish your goals through exercise alone.

What does Nutrition Coaching consist of?

Nutritional Coaching is a combination of:
  • Goal setting and problem solving
  • Analysis of food and activity diaries
  • Nutrition education and strategies
  • Nutrition program design
These services are all based on our experience and the feedback we get from you. This is not simply a distribution of formula diets or meal plans. We want to empower you with the right tools for success.

Session #1 (~45 minutes):

Begins with a complete background assessment of health problems, or medical issues*. This is all about where you have been, where you are now and where you want to be. We’ll discuss what your goals are for eating well, looking good and having more energy. When we learn about your attitude towards food and obstacles you have faced, we can better focus on your plan moving forward. We will discuss your goals for weight loss, nutrition and fitness, along with taking measurements. You can come into our office, sit back, relax and be open and honest with what you feel you need from us to accomplish your goals.

*If any of these conditions are found during our assessment, we are more than happy to recommend you to a RD or MD

Session #2: (~45 minutes):

Begins with an analysis of your current diet and needs. We will provide suggestions to assist with your daily meal planning and day-to-day menus. We will calculate your specific daily calorie count based on your personal statistics and goals.

2 Session Package: $65
Add a weekly check-in via email to keep you accountable: $35 (6 weeks) With the purchase of 10-pack of personal training, your first two sessions are Free!

How does this process get started and do I have to be current client?

You do not have to be a client at OTM to make an appointment for Nutrition Coaching with us, although we highly recommend our classes or personal training sessions in conjunction with the nutrition sessions in order to reach your maximum potential.
